Community Support

Heatcraft Helping Hands is our community support program which encourages the Company and our employees to work together to make a difference in people’s lives through voluntary service and financial support.  Heatcraft is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of people in our communities by forming partnerships with charitable organisations dedicated to directly serving people in need.  Heatcraft is committed to matching funds raised by its employees.

2011 Charity of Choice
After considering many worthwhile charities to support for 2011, Heatcraft New Zealand feels that it is appropriate for charity to begin at home.  Therefore all proceeds from
our 2011 fundraising events will go to the Christchurch Earthquake fund. 

Recent Support & Charities

Make-A-Wish® Foundation – Heatcraft Australia and New Zealand were proud to be sponsors of Make-A-Wish® in Australia and New Zealand during 2009 and 2010.  An incredible two years of giving by Heatcraft and its employees meant that $66,000 was raised for this charity that is committed to “granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.”

Pike River Mine Disaster –  A donation of NZD $5,000 was made to the "Pike River Miners Relief Trust Fund" - thanks to the generosity of Heatcraft employees in NZ and Australia. Heatcraft kindly matched all employee donations collected.  The Trust was established to provide assistance to those who suffer financial hardship as a result of the tragedy at Pike River Mine, Greymouth, New Zealand on November 19, 2010.
