Refrigerant License.jpg
Is your Refrigerant License up to date?

The Refrigerant License Trust has the information you need on understanding your refrigerant compliance obligations.  Even though current legislation states Test Certificates are valid for five years, the industry is experiencing rapid changes in refrigerants and their properties.  By renewing your Refrigerant License every 30 months and attending a renewal course, you will keep current with industry requirements and developments.

Who can register for a Category 3 Refrigerant License
Commercial refrigeration service/installation tradespeople, Large A/C or chiller service technicians, resident refrigeration engineers and maintenance engineers who meet the pre-requisite criteria qualify for the course.

How do you register for a course?
Go to the Training page at www.rlnz.org.nz and select the appropriate Refrigerant License course and follow the online instructions for registration.

All the courses are designed for the RHVAC industry and include issuance of an Approved Filler Test Certificate or an Approved Handler Test Certificate (under the HSNO Act and Regulations) or both as appropriate.   Courses cost between $350 and $450.
